Defining maximum volume of net/total open positions for a trading account, allow to manage volume risks for brokerage company.
This server-side plugin allows brokers to limit the maximum trading volume of open orders for traders. It’s especially useful for brokers who offer favorable trading conditions but want to control their risks.
For example, a broker may offer special micro accounts with excellent conditions but want to restrict the total trade volume for those accounts. The plugin calculates total volume, even considering hedged positions, and allows certain instruments (e.g., gold) to be excluded from the calculation if needed.
Key Plugin Configuration Options:
- Client Groups:
- The plugin can be configured to apply different volume limits for specific groups of traders (e.g., micro accounts or VIP clients).
- Maximum Volume Level:
- Set a maximum allowed volume of open orders for each group to help manage the risk. This ensures traders can’t exceed a predefined volume across all their positions.
- Excluded Symbols:
- You can exclude specific trading instruments (e.g., gold or other symbols) from the total volume calculation, allowing flexibility for certain assets.
